The room at Oyo Flagship 1472 Astana Pengembak Sanur was cozy and welcoming, with soothing natural tones and warm wooden furnishings. It felt like a home away from home, making my stay comfortable and relaxing.
Personally, I found the 32-inch flat-screen TV a bit small for my liking. But hey, some people might still enjoy it!

We stayed at the Astand Pengembak from 16-22 February 2012. The hotel is new and only opened in December2011. Everything is still very new and we were the first guests to stay in the room, 1108. The pool was my favorite. Long and water temperature was just perfect. It was very quiet during our stay - no screaming children or noisy neighbors. The room is spacious, well lit and there was no insects or spiders. The kitchenette is well equipped and it's convenient to make your own lunch and dinner. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is also in a quiet are just off the main road in Sanur. Very easy to walk to the main town area. They do however provide shuttle services to the Sanur town centre. They are also busy completing the two big villas and we would certainly like to come back with friends/family and stay there. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
No complaints really. We understand the hotel is still new. It's not fully operational yet. The restaurant only serves breakfast for now but seeing that there are many good restaurants in Sanur to choose from and that you can make your own lunch/dinner that's not really a problem. They can however maybe offer small snacks/drinks during the day in the meanwhile?Would be a nice touch to guests that would like to lounge around the pool for the day. Staff can also brush up on their knowledge about Sanur and the surrounding area. What restaurants to suggest, tourist attractions and some history maybe. But, everybody was always friendly and always greeted us with a smile whenever they saw us.

the staff, especially the Operations Manager, Julian, went above and beyond to assist us with unusual requests. the rooms were comfortable with excellent bathrooms. the location was a bit further from the main road, but still easily accessible with a scooter. the rooms had a cozy atmosphere, making it tempting to just stay in. it was a great experience, especially for those looking for a place to work with a good internet connection. Cons: Can't fault the property 🔥.

The Astana hotel is a newly build hotel out of the main center of Sanur. This will give you a quiet place to relax, only a 2$ (taxi) drive away from the center. Very nice! The staff is friendly and helpfull (as everybody in Bali) and will help you with anything. We arrived at 01:45am, this was no problem! Even at that time they helped us very well and friendly. Even more, they sent a taxi to pick us up because it was so late/early. Well appreciated. As the hotel is quite new, it is good lookin', no details spared. The rooms are very spacious and include a kitchen, sitting area, bedroom area and seperated bathroom with warm water (and a massive shower!). The hotel is stylishly decorated, not specifically Bali style, but it will give you the paradise feeling. If we ever go back to Sanur, this is definately the place wel will stay. I would recommend it to everybody, you and our family.
We werent able to find a downside to this hotel. Service, location and facilities were very good.

Nice new hotel with clean and comfortable rooms very good value at current prices.
Friendly staff, although they were very inexperienced so simple things such as check inn or breakfast were very slow. Quiet location although transport required to do Anything outside of the hotel.

The pool setting is absolutely incredible, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The modern rooms are gorgeous, with a fabulous bathroom that is simply jaw-dropping. The delicious lunch meals delivered to our room were a pleasant surprise. The location is perfect, conveniently situated between the beach and the center, making it easy to walk to both. The concept of the hotel, resembling apartments with a well-equipped kitchen and ample space, is fantastic. The size of the room is so comfortable, allowing for easy storage of luggage and even accommodating extra guests with a sofa bed. The quality and price balance is perfect. The bed provided a great night's sleep, and overall, our stay was truly satisfying. The free Wi-Fi, car park, bar/lounge area, restaurant, swimming pool, flat-screen TV.

Room is good size. Quiet location. Staff very friendly with ok english.
Breakfast is pathetic and expensive for what you receive. Manager not reasonable when it comes to errors they have made with booking. I had a dispute with management and he is not willing to compromise. Pool not well maintained. A little bit far away for shopping but not too bad.

The semi rural atmosphere. When you are walking to the beach ( a 20 min walk to the resort areas) you can hear the roosters crowing early in the morning. The rooms are accessed by a spotlessly clean tiled walkway. The rooms themselves have excellent facilities.Nothing was ever too much trouble. The Manager, Rudi, was a charming man, always smiling and laughing and joking.
The safe in the room was down a bit low, you have to get down on your knees to access it.

The place is about 10 min walk from the main road, so it gives you a quiet place to stay. Good for people who come for relaxing. The building is new, so you would fine anything in perfect condition. Suitable for family with young children.
It is a bit hard to find food within walking distance. Well, you can order the food in the hotel if you'd like to, but I prefer outside food.

One of the best aspects of this hotel is its value for money. With affordable prices, you can enjoy a comfortable stay without breaking the bank. Also, the attention to detail in this hotel is impressive. The rooms are well-equipped with basic amenities, including a kitchen and microwave, making it convenient for guests who prefer to cook their own meals. The rooms also feature a comfy sofa and a massive couch, perfect for lounging after a long day of exploring. Additionally, breakfast is included, providing a good start to the day.
I found my stay at this hotel to be quite satisfactory, with no major issues to mention.

We are impressed by your quick response time when we faced issues with our safety box and also when we accidentally left our access card in the room. Every evening, we returned to a nicely made-up room, with the furnishing and kitchen items arranged back neatly. Initially, the staff seemed to be unclear about our airport transfer arrangements and daily breakfast inclusions. We were glad that these were eventually sorted out, and with a peace of mind, we enjoyed our stay at your good hotel. Overall, for a new hotel with less than 1 year of operations, you have already scored well. We do hope you keep up your good work, and yes, we look forward to either Room 1107 or 2107 on our next stay.
We would love to use your bicycles for a ride along the nearby beach, but unfortunately they were not in a very good condition, so we gave it a miss.

The hotel rooms were great, Air con rooms with king sized comfortable beds and a large lounge. Kitchenette was good for preparing baby food. Tvs were new with many English channels and a dvd player in the room. The hotel is quiet, away from any noise. The hotel staff are very friendly and since the hotel is very small they will give you a more personal service. They staff was very keen to help us find a transfer, hire a bike and hire a car to drive us around. This made things easier to go through the hotel. There were lots of families staying while we were there, but the rooms are well insulated so we didn't hear the noise.
The hotel is very far from everything. It will take 15 mins for you to walk to the nearest restaurant or massage place. The beach is not close either, maybe 10 - 15 mins walk in the heat) You will need to get a Taxi to the town to buy food or go shopping. This will cost you about $4 each way, so not expensive. Next time we will stay somewhere closer to the beach and main shopping area. The pool is very small and does not get sun in the afternoon so that was a shame. The restaurant is very small too, and doesn't have a lot to offer. The breakfast was a real let down, and not worth the $10 daily fee. We originally booked this hotel so we could put the baby cot in one room and close the door and be able to watch Tv, but the bathroom area/closet was not Air Con so we were unable to seperate the baby from our main bedroom. This hotel is cheaper than a lot of other hotels, but this is only because of its location. I would reccommend going somewhere else closer to more facilities.
